I got married this past June and I gained 3 children ages 5, 6 and 8. I loved starting new traditions as a family that we will repeat year after year.

My favorite thing was all the people that blessed us with food and money to help pay our bills since my husband unexpectedly lost his job in October. It was such a good lesson for the children!

My favorite thing this Christmas was being able to spend time with my family. I love waking up Christmas morning to the excited voice of my oldest daughter saying, "Santa came!!!!!". And this year my youngest daughter is old enough to enjoy it!

My family is up north (in the blizzard) and my best friend's family is also up north. Since we couldn't share Christmas with our families we got together with our husbands and had a wonderful dinner. We exchanged gifts and were thankful for the true gift of Christmas.

My favorite part of my holiday was when my mother brought her famous honey ham for me to eat. I haven't seen her in almost 6 months.

Loving all the memories! The holidays are such a special time. Many people don't get to see their loved ones, some only at the holidays and others everyday. Memories last a lifetime!

Blessings!

I love being able to spend time with my kids. I know it sounds so cliche' but with them being teenagers, I crave any time I can get.

My favorite memory of this Christmas was the look of wonderment on my 2-year-olds face every time that he experienced something new. He "oohed" and "ahhed" the entire Christmas season!

My favorite thing about this Christmas is the fact that my mother has 5 grandchildren now ranging in age from 7 years to 9 months, I watched my mom while everyone was opening gifts and just to see that look of love and amazement on her face was the best gift of all :)

The holiday season in general is my favorite but the one thing that meant the most to me was my children finally knowing the true meaning of Christmas. This year they were excited for Jesus Birthday, more so than Santa. My heart was full.

Christmas day I got to spend time with my little niece for the first time in 6 years. I got to cook my first Christmas dinner in my own kitchen in my own home with my own family. My back was killing me, but it was all worth it and I would do it all over again without changing one thing. Pain and all!
