♥ Savvy Savin' Suppers ♥

This is a wonderful recipe that we cook quite often.  Paired with the recent deals in the last week or so, makes it a Savvy Savin Supper!

Tater Tot Casserole

1lb Ground Beef
1 (12oz) Package of Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 Large Yellow or Vidalia Onion
2 Cans Cream of Chicken Soup
1 Bag of Tater Tots

In a medium size pan brown beef, drain and set aside.  Dice Onion. Spray cooking spray in a 9 x 13 casserole dish (can use glass or metal).  Layer as follows:  Beef, Onion, Cheese, Spread cream of chicken over layers and top with tater tots.  Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until tater tots are golden brown.  It is best to leave tater tots frozen until ready for use.

Note:  If you don't have cooking spray you can use regular cooking oil or butter and coat the inside of the dish with a napkin.  Being frugal is all about improvising and making your stockpile work for you.
