Couponers--Come Together To Do Good

For those of you who have been with Savvy Coupon Clippers since the beginning of this journey, you know that a HUGE part of Savvy Coupon Clippers is " paying it forward " , and GIVING back to our community and the less fortunate.

While money is tight for many of us, we CAN make a HUGE difference with the use of coupons. We can stockpile many items for FREE or close to it when using them effectively.

Oct.23,2010 is known world wide as Make A Difference Day, and Savvy Coupon Clippers are setting out to do just that.

I had originally said that we were going to announce a date at the beginning of October,that was going to be dedicated for dropping off grocery and toiletry items. I have since decided that we are going to hold on to those items ( although we can collect them from you anytime if you prefer ), and we are going to collect the items on Oct.23rd.

This gives us almost a month to round up grocery and toiletry items for FREE or close to it, and Make A Difference in some one's life.

We will have an " on site " location ( we will announce the location as the time nears ), and we hope to have a HUGE response from our Savvy Shoppers. I would love to make this an event where we can all get together and meet one another, put a face to the MANY names that we hear from on a daily basics. We will have refreshments and giveaways. This is OUR time to show that Savvy Coupon Clippers cares about our community, and that we are here to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Each week, I will list items that are FREE or close to it with coupons from various local stores. ( remember that you can order multiple coupons on ebay, and be sure to sign up with ebates--look under the ebates label on the left hand side of the website--, so that you can earn money back on your purchases )

We will be donating all items to a local food bank, and/or non-profit organization(s).

For those of you who do not live in our area, WE would LOVE for you to praticapte with us by helping your community. There is always someone in need of a helping hand, someone from all different walks of life, and we would LOVE for you to help us "pay it forward" , by helping your community. You could take photos of your donations as a way of sharing your Make A Difference event with all of us :)

I know that Holly and I will have an ABUNDANCE amount of support from all of you, and together; WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE using one coupon at a time :)
