It is very difficult (at least in my part of the country) to find coupons for produce or meats. Occasionally stores do have a $2 off $5 worth of produce or a $1 off chicken or ground beef if you by cheese. These rarely come by so I don’t bank on them.
As a rule of thumb I do not pay over a $1 a pound for any of my produce. You may have to check your circulars if you are looking for something in particular but you can typically find great produce for less than a $1 a pound. Also you can check with your produce manager and find when they will be marking down produce and pick it up then.
So here is a list of 50 plus foods that you can get for less than $1 a pound. Some are sells others are every day prices but if you check your sales you could get a weeks worth of meats, fresh produce, etc. for well under $50. And If you paired it with some overage you could pay even less.
